Born and raised in Los Angeles, California then at 19 transplanted to Arizona, Aeimee Diaz, went from Miss Teen Phoenix 1993 to living her life’s purpose as a healer, Chinese Medicine practitioner, and being of service working with youth facilitating self-empowering workshops. Aeimee has been studying and practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2006 and began practicing meditation at 19 in 1992. Healing and medicine have been in Aeimee’s family for several generations. She aspires to inspire youth promoting a healthy mind, body, and spirit using the power of their thoughts and words, cultivating self-compassion and living with purpose. Aeimee is currently in a four-year doctorate program in Chinese Energetic Medicine through Bian Hua Gong, Temple of Change and Transformation, and also studying since 2021 through Tian Huo Gong Daoist Temple of The Celestial Fire, a five-year Daoist priest program.

Board Chairman
Having parents who were both exceptionally gifted and creative classroom teachers, Larry Johnson has understood the empowerment of education from an early age. He credits much of his success in his business career to the teaching skills and techniques he absorbed from his most memorable teachers. Mr. Johnson has been an executive with multiple K-12 Education companies and been on the board of several educational nonprofits. Larry now brings his decades-long experience and network of advisors to Discover Yourself Now! with the goal of making a unique, financial literacy course a means for generational change.

Dr. Hamilton is a nationally recognized educator, speaker, author and a past President of the National Alliance of Black School Educators. As a classroom teacher, principal and superintendent, Mr. Hamilton always kept the focus on the students. Today, Bernard serves nationally on multiple boards and committees with an emphasis on mentoring the next generation of aspiring K-12 education leaders.
